The mod team stated that the goal of the mod is to capture as much of the grimdark fantasy world of Warhammer as possible, while retaining the overall gameplay aspects of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. It is set during the time of Karl Franz's ascent to the throne of the Empire of Man.
The new mod is called 'The Old Realms' and is a fan project being developed for Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord.
